SICILY, Siculo-Punic. Uncertain mint. Circa 320/15-300 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.08 g, 6 h), "People of the Camp", possibly Entella. Head of Tanit-Persephone to left, wearing wreath of grain leaves, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; to right, dolphin swimming to left. Rev. 'MHMḤN (in Punic script) Horse’s head to left, with luxuriant mane; behind, palm tree. HGC 2, 284. Jenkins 209 (dies O64/R182, this coin). A very rare variety. Beautifully toned and well struck. Very minor cleaning marks in the obverse field, otherwise, about extremely fine.
